WHY USE GNS LOGISTICS?

Using a Hiab, also known as a hydraulic loader crane, can be a complex task that requires proper training and attention to safety guidelines.

Operating a Hiab should be done by trained and certified individuals who are familiar with the specific model and its operational requirements.

All GNS Logistics HIAB operators are ALLMI licenced and trained that covers crane work; all our crane operators are ALLMI trained. The ALLIMI training includes

2. Inspection: Before using the Hiab, we inspect it thoroughly for any signs of damage, wear, or malfunction. At GND Logistics before any load leaves us we check the hydraulic system, controls, lifting equipment, and structural components to ensure everything is in proper working condition.
3. Load Capacity:  Our HIABs cover a wide range of options including 1TM to 36TM and able to lift up to 5.5 tonnes spanning 12.5 metres. Our understanding of the load capacity of the Hiab, including the maximum lifting capacity  We never exceed these limits as it can lead to instability or failure.
4. Proper Loading and Securing: We ensure that the load we are lifting is properly balanced, centered, and secured. We use appropriate slings, chains, or other lifting devices to secure the load to the crane’s hook. At GNS Logistics we pay attention to the weight distribution and center of gravity to maintain stability during lifting and transport.
5. Before we arrive with our HIAB crane please clear the area we are delivering to: Make sure the work area is clear of people and obstacles. Keep bystanders at a safe distance to avoid any accidents or injuries.
